The Lowy Institute invites you to its first Canberra event for 2021. This panel discussion will cover the key issues likely to dominate Australia’s international agenda in 2021, including our relations with China and America, the COVID and climate-change agenda, and how the new US administration will approach the region. This popular event has been held annually in Sydney and Melbourne, and comes to Canberra for the first time this year.
International Security Program Director Sam Roggeveen will chair an expert panel including Richard McGregor, Senior Fellow on China; Natasha Kassam, who leads the Lowy Institute public opinion and diplomacy projects; and Ben Scott, Director of the Institute’s project on Australia's Security and the Rules-Based Order.
